The system was activated in partnership with Solarvest Energy Sdn Bhd. The solar panel construction project was rolled out in two phases, covering 11 buildings across the nine hospitals.
These include a pilot project at Columbia Asia Hospital in Iskandar Puteri, followed by hospitals in Tebrau, Setapak, Cheras, Petaling Jaya, Bukit Rimau, Klang, Seremban, and Taiping.
The system has been producing renewable energy since its installation commenced in December 2023.
