China’s JD Health revamps online app
It has also introduced a new hotline service.
China’s JD Health has revamped its application and introduced its new hotline service as the internet giant’s 618 Grand Promotion is in full swing, the company announced in a news release.
The app has now put the frequently used doctor-searching function in a more prominent position, and placed direct entrance points to local medical services such as physical examinations, vaccination, eyes and oral care on the app’s landing page.
Customers will also find more health content on the new app edition, including doctor livestreaming, real-time healthcare information updates, and educational videos.
Meanwhile, a new hotline allows customers to consult on JD Health Internet hospitals, including questions on pharmaceutical product purchases, medical consultations, healthcare management services, medical insurance inquiries and more, a representative of JD Health’s customer service team said.
Most members of the customer service team are licensed pharmacists and certified medical practitioners who will provide real-time person-to-person responses via the call center from 9 AM to 9 PM every day.
Customers can continue to access 24/7 online consultation via JD’s app for medical support out of the working hours. Phone calls of JD Health’s “Family Doctor” telemedicine program users will be answered by their designated health managers at any time during the day and night.
