Bumrungrad Hospital’s net profit projected to rise 4.6% YoY in Q3
The increase is attributed to a rebound in patient arrivals from the Middle East.
Thailand’s Bumrungrad Hospital is expected to post a net profit of $62.5m (THB2.05b) for the third quarter, up 4.6% year-on-year (YoY), according to a UOBKayHian report.
Revenue for the quarter is projected at $183m (THB6b), reflecting 4.5% YoY growth.
The increase is attributed to a rebound in Middle Eastern patient arrivals, driven by pent-up demand following the Ramadan period and earlier travel disruptions caused by the earthquake.
“Moreover, the high revenue base from Kuwait patients ended in Q2’24 last year, hence the revenue in Q3’24 was already normalised,” the report said.
Consequently, margins are expected to expand slightly YoY.
