Brunei unveils enhanced BruHealth App
New features include queue management, self-check-in, and access to patient records.
Brunei’s Ministry of Health (MOH) has unveiled new features for their BruHealth mobile application, elevating convenient services for Brunei patients including queue management system (QMS), video consultation, self-check-in, and patient health record features.
The QMS allows an easier procedure to book appointments, pay online and register for appointments at government-owned health facilities. Through real-time data under a digitised system, health staff can help resolve issues in queues and crowding in health centres.
The Video Consultation feature offers a more accessible and convenient service for users, with quicker video sessions and alternative facilities other than face-to-face meetings. Currently, the feature is exclusive to health personnel.

The Self Check-In feature assists users in payments involving the BruHealth app and guides them to the appropriate health centre. It is currently under the Pilot Phase at Muara Health Centre.
The Patient Health Record feature provides access for users to review their health history records, like laboratory results, medical visit records, medication records and immunisation records.
The new features were introduced during a demonstration in Muara Health Centre.
