The Australian government has unveiled the design for the new Pakenham Community Hospital in Melbourne.
The designs feature the facility’s exterior, the main reception area, a waiting area, and specialised spaces for dialysis and dental care.
Demolition of the site at Drake Place in Pakenham began in November 2024, with major construction scheduled to begin shortly.
Once completed, the new hospital will provide care for minor injuries and illnesses, and serve as a hub for specialist care, community health providers, and social support services.
