Australia’s Muswellbrook Hospital begins stage 3 of redevelopment

Construction is expected to be completed in 2027.

Construction is underway for Stage 3 of the Muswellbrook Hospital Redevelopment in New South Wales, according to the Australian government.

The latest stage includes the development of a new operating theatre suite and a new sterilising department. Community health clinical spaces will also be relocated into the existing hospital building.

Work will focus on the construction of the operating theatre, followed by the community health area. The sterilising department will be built once the operating theatre is completed.
