Australian gov’t unveils masterplan for Fairfield Hospital redevelopment
A redevelopment zone at the front of the hospital building has been identified.
The Australian government has released the master plan for the $351.2m (A$550m) Fairfield Hospital Redevelopment in New South Wales.
The plan identifies a redevelopment zone at the front of the current hospital building, where new clinical facilities could be constructed to align with existing services.
A new clinical services building is being considered within this zone, with the final scope to be determined in the next stage of planning.
Plans also outline designated parking areas located at either end of the hospital and green zones providing outdoor spaces for patients and visitors.
