The Australian government is set to provide $861k (A$1.3m) to Monash University to update the Clinical Practice Guidelines and Principles of Care for People with Dementia.
The forthcoming update, due mid-2026, will integrate current scientific evidence and best practices in dementia risk reduction, diagnosis, and management.
Moreover, the revised guidelines will be accessible to GPs, medical specialists, and aged care workers in the field of dementia care.
