Australia launches menopause hub at the Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick
The hub includes NSW’s first publicly funded hormone and mood clinic.
The Australian government in New South Wales (NSW) has announced a new menopause hub at the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick.
The hub is designed for women whose symptoms have not responded to standard treatments or who have additional health complications, and it includes NSW’s first publicly funded hormone and mood clinic.
Eligible women can be referred by general practitioners, specialists, and nurse practitioners, with both in-person and telehealth options available for those in the Illawarra Shoalhaven and Southern NSW Local Health Districts.
The new facility is part of the NSW Health menopause network, which includes four main hubs and multiple referral locations across the state.
