Australia kicks off first stage of $630m Fairfield Hospital project

This includes plans for a new 460-space multi-storey car park.

The first stage of work for the $630m Fairfield Hospital Redevelopment in Australia has commenced, according to a press release.

This includes plans for a new 460-space multi-storey car park, increasing capacity by approximately 500 spaces upon completion by mid-2026.

Moreover, planning and design are progressing for a new clinical services building, which will include an expanded Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Medical Imaging, Operating theatres, and Inpatient wards.

Some existing departments will also be relocated or refurbished as part of the project.
