Australia invests $276k in Mid North Coast Local Health District

The funding is part of a broader investment under the “Regional Health Minor Works Programme”.

The Australian government has announced a funding boost of $276k (A$410k) in the Mid North Coast Local Health District in New South Wales.

Port Macquarie Base Hospital, Kempsey District Hospital, and Macksville District Hospital will share $158k (A$235k) to update waste management systems in their operating theatres.

Meanwhile, Wauchope District Memorial Hospital will receive approximately $118k (A$175k )to replace the decking structure that connects the main building to its rehabilitation unit. 

The funding is part of a broader $8m (A$12m) investment by the government into 61 projects under the “Regional Health Minor Works Programme”.
