Australia funds cancer education for Illawarra’s CALD communities

The programme will focus on bowel, breast, and cervical cancer screening.

The Australian government is investing $18,900 (A$30,000) to support cancer screening and prevention education for culturally and linguistically diverse communities in Illawarra, New South Wales.

The "Multicultural Community Screening Education and Healthy Living Illawarra" project will provide education sessions on bowel, breast, and cervical cancer screening, as well as smoking cessation.
