The funding will be used by 11 organisations.

The Australian government has awarded $1.04m (A$1.6m) in grants to support initiatives aimed at increasing cervical screening rates amongst under-screened populations in New South Wales.

The funding will be used by 11 organisations to develop strategies targeting Aboriginal communities, culturally and linguistically diverse groups, and LGBTQ+ individuals.

Supported projects will focus on culturally appropriate education, staff training, and the development of action plans to improve outreach and engagement with priority populations.
