It will feature a primary access clinic and comprehensive birthing services.
The state and Commonwealth governments have invested $588m (A$910m) to establish Rouse Hill Hospital in northwest Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
The project’s final scope is set to include an emergency department, a primary access clinic, and comprehensive birthing services.
The hospital will also offer inpatient beds, day surgery services, short-stay medical assessment, pathology, pharmacy, and medical imaging.
Additional services are expected to include outpatient and ambulatory care such as paediatrics and renal dialysis, virtual care, hospital-in-the-home services, and prehabilitation, rehabilitation and lifestyle medicine programmes.
The “Early Works Review of Environmental Factors”, along with supporting technical documentation, has been released for public consultation.
Meanwhile, a state significant development application for the main construction phase is expected to go on public exhibition later this year.
