Australia announces fourth increase in aged care award wages

Registered nurses on level 2 will receive an additional $39.84 (A$60.20) per week.

The Australian Government has announced a fourth increase in award wages for aged care workers.

Registered nurses on level 2, pay point 3 of the award, will receive an additional $39.84 (A$60.20) per week.

Meanwhile, enrolled nurses on level 2 will see an increase of $41.30 (A$62.40) per week.

Personal care workers on level 3 will gain $26.14 (A$39.50) per week.

A further increase for registered and enrolled nurses is scheduled to take effect on 1 August 2026.
