Amrita Hospital opens India’s first Centre for Brain Health

The Neuroimmunology Centre of Excellence was also inaugurated.

The Department of Neurosciences at Amrita Hospital marked 25 years of by inaugurating the nation’s first Centre for Brain Health and Preventive Neurology, alongside the Neuroimmunology Centre of Excellence.

Actor Mohanlal officially opened both centers and released Chiriyil Pothinja Novarivukal, a book by Dr. Anand Kumar, Head of Neurology at Amrita Hospital.

The event was attended by literary luminaries such as Prof. M.K. Sanu and author C. Radhakrishnan, along with hospital leadership including Prem Nair, group medical director, Anand Kumar, and K.P. Vinayan, head of pediatric neurology.
