Amrita-Hikigai Joint Research Centre to drive AI development in healthcare

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with US-based Hikigai Inc. to establish the Amrita-Hikigai Joint Research Centre for AI in healthcare.

The partnership will focus on key areas such as personalised treatment plans and diagnoses, nanotechnology, and AI-driven automation.

The MoU was signed at Amrita’s Coimbatore campus by Lalitha R, CEO of Hikigai Inc., and Chulliyil Parameswaran, Principal Director of Corporate and Industry Relations, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
