Abu Dhabi to boost healthcare cybersecurity in new partnership

Key initiatives include sector-wide cyber drills and knowledge exchange.

The Department of Health–Abu Dhabi (DoH) and CPX have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to advance cybersecurity and digital resilience in the capital’s healthcare sector.

Under the MoU, both parties will establish a framework to strengthen cyber resilience, which includes coordinating sector-wide cyber drills and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise.

The partnership also supports the organisation of dedicated events and initiatives focused on upskilling healthcare professionals and entities in cybersecurity preparedness.

The agreement was signed by Eissa Nasser Alhammadi, Information and Cyber Security Office Director at the DoH–Abu Dhabi and Hadi Anwar CEO, at CPX.
