IE Medica Inc wins at Healthcare Asia Pharma Awards 2026

The company strengthens workforce alignment and supply chain reliability to support healthcare in the Philippines.

IE Medica Inc won Employee Engagement of the Year - Philippines and Supply Chain Initiative of the Year - Philippines in the Healthcare Asia Pharma Awards 2026, recognising the company’s dual focus on people and operational excellence.

The Employee Engagement of the Year - Philippines award highlights IE Medica Inc’s organisation-wide programme to reinforce its renewed Vision, Mission, and Values (VMV) throughout the company. The initiative began with internal workshops where team members shared perspectives on strengths, culture, and aspirations, ensuring the VMV reflected both leadership direction and employee insight. The company then created distinct icons and clear definitions for each VMV element, incorporating them across communications, executive speeches, bulletins, internal templates, visuals, and even email signatures.

This programme culminated in a town hall launch last May, where employees participated in reflective activities and commitment-building exercises. IE Medica Inc also embedded the VMV into its recognition systems, making values formal award categories in the annual Service Awards.

IE Medica Inc’s supply chain efforts earned the Supply Chain Initiative of the Year - Philippines award for its achievement of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Certificate Level 1. The company became the first pharmaceutical firm in the Philippines to secure this certification, improving compliance, governance, and customs readiness whilst enhancing operational efficiency.

The AEO certification required extensive audits, policy reviews, and documentation checks. To further support supply chain excellence, IE Medica Inc implemented SAP, enabling real-time data management and faster decision-making.

These measures reduced the typical shipment release time from five days to one day, strengthened continuity of supply, and provided access to dedicated Bureau of Customs support for urgent shipments. The certification also supports automatic renewal of the company’s Certificate of Registration, avoiding delays from manual processes.

Together, these achievements demonstrate how IE Medica Inc’s renewed VMV serves as its north star, aligning its people whilst guiding disciplined, high-performing operations. By embedding its values into both culture and systems, the company ensures that employee engagement and supply chain excellence work in tandem toward a shared goal: delivering reliable, efficient, and patient-focused healthcare solutions across the Philippines.
