Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, Jomtien Hospital bag wins at Healthcare Asia Awards 2025

The hospital chains scored wins in the Marketing Initiative of the Year - Thailand and Clinical Service Initiative of the Year - Thailand categories.

Bangkok Hospital Pattaya and Jomtien Hospital have been recognised at the Healthcare Asia Awards 2025, taking home prestigious national titles that highlight their commitment to advancing healthcare innovation and patient-focussed service delivery in Eastern Thailand. Their award-winning initiatives reflect a strategic blend of clinical excellence and community engagement, setting new benchmarks for private healthcare in the region.

Bangkok Hospital Pattaya received the Marketing Initiative of the Year - Thailand award for its Corporate Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Preventive Project, a proactive programme aimed at improving long-term health outcomes for corporate employees. Amidst rising rates of NCDs across the region, the initiative introduces a structured model for health screening, early risk detection, and personalised care.

Developed with a focus on integration and sustainability, the project is anchored in three core objectives: systematic health screenings, personalised wellness programmes tailored to corporate environments, and timely medical interventions for at-risk individuals. The initiative is led by a multidisciplinary team that conducts comprehensive health evaluations and maintains continuous communication with company stakeholders.

Supporting its medical approach is a dynamic engagement strategy that includes wellness education and outcome tracking—ensuring the programme remains effective, relevant, and adaptable. Since its launch, corporate partners have reported measurable improvements in employee well-being, along with increased participation in health-focussed activities.

As demand grows for preventive healthcare in the workplace, the initiative continues to expand, positioning Bangkok Hospital Pattaya as a leader in corporate health solutions in Eastern Thailand.

Jomtien Hospital: Compassionate care for the ageing and vulnerable

Jomtien Hospital was also honoured at the awards, winning Clinical Service Initiative of the Year - Thailand for its innovative Respite Care Centre. The centre was established to address the increasing need for long-term, elderly, and palliative care services, driven by shifting demographics and growing expectations for comprehensive support.

Operating 24 hours a day, the Respite Care Centre provides hospital-grade care for elderly patients requiring continuous support, terminally ill individuals in need of dignified end-of-life care, and those recovering from surgery or acute illness. The facility is distinguished by its person-centred approach, with individually tailored care plans delivered by a multidisciplinary team specialising in geriatric, palliative, and rehabilitative care.

Beyond medical treatment, the centre places a strong emphasis on emotional well-being, ensuring a safe, peaceful environment for recovery and comfort. Since its inception, it has served 488 patients and maintained a 98% satisfaction rate, reflecting its reputation for compassionate and professional care.

This recognition affirms Jomtien Hospital’s commitment to closing critical service gaps and enhancing the quality of life through empathy-driven healthcare. The Respite Care Centre stands as a model for long-term and palliative care in Thailand.
