Joson-Care exports hospital beds with smart features
The Taiwanese manufacturer is integrating advanced functions and exploring AI-enabled partnerships.
Taiwan-based Joson-Care Enterprise is ramping up exports of its hospital beds, featuring advanced positioning systems designed for both clinical and home care environments. Speaking at Medical Taiwan 2025, Justin Zheng, International Sales representative, highlighted the company’s diverse portfolio of ICU beds, stretchers, and home care beds.
“[We have been] manufacturing hospital beds in Taiwan for over 20 years,” Zheng said. “Right now, all ICU beds have some very good functions… like the Trendelenburg position, reverse Trendelenburg, and the chair position.”
As demand rises for connected healthcare solutions, Zheng noted a key challenge is keeping pace with smart technology expectations. “The challenge right now is when somebody asks us if we have the smart bed,” he said. “We can make some combinations with the other technology companies.”
Zheng added that the company is closely watching industry trends, especially as global brands incorporate sensors and Wi-Fi into bed systems. “They can connect from the tablet or smartphone… to the nursing stations. When the patients have some situations, they may know the situation right away,” he said.
