Dermatoo connects hospitals with wound care software
The platform improves communication, tracks wound progress, and aims to reduce hospital stays.
Dermatoo is tackling the often-overlooked issue of wound care with its software platform designed to improve treatment coordination and reduce patient recovery time.
“We are a digital twin of the skin,” said Natacha Kolak, account manager at Dermatoo, during Medical Taiwan 2025. “We are a software that is… a communication tool for all the professionals taking care of wounds… and centralising all the information in one single place.”
In addition to streamlining collaboration between nurses, doctors, and dermatologists, the platform features an advanced analysis system. “We provide an automatic measurement of the wound and also a 3D modelisation,” Kolak added.
Kolak emphasised that wound care remains underestimated in hospitals worldwide. “Patients that are suffering from wounds usually stay around 25 days in the hospital,” she said. “With our app, it really allows us to treat the wound in a better way.”
