Thai Hospitals to see further ESG improvements: report
They performed well in areas like patient safety and access to healthcare.
Thai hospitals are expected to show further improvements in environmental, social, and governance performance, with strong results observed in the social and environmental pillars, according to a CGS International report.
Hospitals performed well in areas such as patient safety, access to healthcare, quality of care, data privacy, and information security.
Efforts to improve environmental outcomes have also gained momentum, particularly in areas such as energy efficiency, greenhouse gas emission reduction, renewable energy use, and waste and wastewater management.
However, some hospitals are urged to increase spending on staff training to prevent workplace injuries, whilst others could improve governance by addressing the composition of their boards of directors, the report added.
