HA renews three-year deal with Singapore for public hospital management

The new agreement will strengthen the two economies’ healthcare cooperation.

The Hospital Authority (HA) has renewed its three-year memorandum of understanding with the MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (MOHH) of Singapore to enhance public hospital management and talent training between the two.

In a statement, HA Chief Executive Dr. Tony Ko said the deal was first signed in 2013, establishing a collaboration framework on healthcare management for both places.

MOHH CEO Anthony Tan said that public healthcare systems in both places have much to learn from each other.

Through the renewed partnership, MOHH hopes to “inspire innovative thinking and jointly enhance the quality of healthcare services, sustainability, and operational efficiency for the benefit of the residents of both places."

In Hong Kong, the MOHH delegation and HA exchanged on the latter’s management, HR, infrastructure, talent development, and opportunities for foreign doctors. Sustainable healthcare and collaboration were also discussed.
