Sunway Medical Centre boosts athlete care with strategic ISN partnership

The MOU will emphasise surgical intervention, amongst others.

Sunway Medical Centre Velocity (SMCV) and Institut Sukan Negara (ISN) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), aiming to strengthen the healthcare of athletes and sports professionals.

The MOU will emphasise surgical intervention, rehabilitation and post-operative recovery, and safe return to sport.

It will also establish a framework for closer clinical partnership, mutual referrals and continuous knowledge sharing between SMCV specialists and ISN’s sports science and medical teams.

Through this partnership, eligible ISN athletes and staff will benefit across a range of selected services at SMCV.

Moreover, the MOU establishes a streamlined referral system between SMCV and ISN, giving athletes and staff access to the combined facilities and expertise of both institutions.
