India rolls out funding programme to power AI cancer diagnostics
Selected projects will receive pilot funding of up to $53,600 (₹50 lakh).
India has launched the Cancer AI & Technology Challenge (CATCH) Grant Programme to develop artificial intelligence-based cancer screening and diagnostics.
In partnership with the National Cancer Grid, selected projects will receive pilot funding of up to $53,600 (₹50 lakh), with opportunities for additional support up to $107,200 (₹1 crore), subject to clinical readiness.
In February, the country launched the Strategy for AI in Healthcare in India and the Benchmarking Open Data Platform for Health AI.
