SGH launches neuroscience ICU to support critical cases

The unit features six beds with real-time remote monitoring.

Singapore General Hospital has opened a dedicated intensive care unit (ICU) to manage patients with life-threatening neurological conditions, such as stroke, brain injuries and spinal trauma.

The neuroscience ICU houses six beds equipped with remote monitoring systems that track vital data in real-time.

The facility also features strengthened infection-control measures, including negative-pressure rooms and ante-rooms designed to reduce the risk of airborne transmission.
