The centre will feature Malaysia’s first cyclotron outside the Klang Valley.

Singapore-based Precious Medical Group has announced the launch of the $121.1m (RM500m) Tunku Laksamana Johor Cancer Centre and Hospital in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

The first phase, the Tunku Laksamana Johor Cancer Centre, is scheduled to open on 5 December. It will include a PET-CT suite and a radiotherapy centre.

Once completed, it will also feature a nuclear medicine facility containing what is expected to be Malaysia’s first cyclotron outside the Klang Valley.
