Hong Kong vows support for HKUST’s third medical school

The school will be established by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

The Hospital Authority (HA) will support the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in establishing the third medical school in the city.

HA will dovetail with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government to support the proposed medical school, the agency said in a release.

Meanwhile, the authority will continue to support two existing medical schools in training students by providing internships for local medical graduates and employing graduates for training in public hospitals.
