Design unveiled for Western Australia’s new Women and Babies Hospital
The 12-storey facility will house 274 hospital beds.
The design for Western Australia's new Women and Babies Hospital has been unveiled as site preparations begin at the Fiona Stanley Hospital precinct.
The 12-storey, 274-bed hospital will provide inpatient facilities for gynaecology and maternity patients, a neonatology unit, operating theatres, a family birth centre, and outpatient clinics.
In addition to the new hospital, the project includes two new multi-deck car parks providing 2,500 bays within the Fiona Stanley Hospital precinct, a major expansion of Osborne Park Hospital, and an expansion of neonatal services at Perth Children's Hospital.
Work on the first 1,500 bay multi-deck car park will begin shortly, with planning for the second car park in its early stages.
