India’s 3T MRI systems market eyes 12% CAGR growth until 2036
The country accounted for nearly 22% of the Asia-Pacific market in 2024.
India’s 3T MRI systems market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 12% through 2036, according to a GlobalData report.
The country accounted for nearly 22% of the Asia-Pacific market in 2024. This share is projected to grow amid increasing healthcare investments, the rising prevalence of chronic diseases, and greater demand for high-precision diagnostic tools.
“The increasing adoption of 3T MRI systems in India reflects the country’s focus on enhancing diagnostic capabilities and strengthening tertiary care infrastructure,” said Sarvesh Kumar, Medical Devices Analyst at GlobalData.
A key development includes the installation of Mumbai’s first Omega 3T MRI system at Lilavati Hospital.
“With both public and private sector support, India is poised to emerge as one of the most dynamic growth markets for advanced diagnostic imaging in the APAC region,” Kumar added.
