TTSH to add 600 acute beds under ‘HealthCity Novena Master Plan’ Phase 2
The campus will comprise the ‘Specialist’, ‘Community’, and ‘Future Health’ spaces.
A proposed medical tower at Singapore’s Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) will add around 600 beds and new specialist outpatient clinics to expand acute care capacity, said Minister for Health Ong Ye Kung.
The tower is a key component of Phase 2 of the HealthCity Novena Master Plan, which will be built on the existing CDC 2 and Annexe 2 sites.
Upon completion, the TTSH campus will comprise the ‘Specialist’, ‘Community’, and ‘Future Health’ spaces.
To facilitate construction, existing specialist outpatient clinics, laboratories and offices from the CDC 2 and Annexe 2 buildings will be moved to a temporary facility at the former Pavilion Wards.
