Davao Hospital, UP Mindanao ink deal on new medicine programme

The partnership supports the university’s academic expansion.

Davao Doctors Hospital and the University of the Philippines (UP) Mindanao have signed a memorandum of agreement to collaborate on the implementation of the university’s upcoming medicine programme.

The partnership supports the academic expansion under the university’s “Mindanao Health Initiative” to improve health outcomes of communities in the region.

It also supports UP Mindanao’s “Road to 5,000 Students” agenda, which aims to enhance academic offerings and increase enrollment from 1,400 to 5,000 students by 2029.

The agreement was signed by Davao Doctors Hospital Chief Operating Officer, Mirasol Tiu, and UP Mindanao Chancellor, Lyre Anni Murao.
