More than 200 Day Care Cancer Centres (DCCCs) have been approved for establishment across India for the financial year 2025–26.
The unit cost for setting up each centre may go up to $172.3k (Rs. 1.49 crore), depending on the infrastructure requirements and service gaps identified at each facility.
The centres will primarily be established in district hospitals, depending on the availability of space and logistics, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
DCCCs may also be established in other government health facilities, based on feasibility and state proposals
