OmQi develops home-use oxygen and NO device
The firm’s non-medical wellness tool uses membrane tech to boost oxygen and nitric oxide delivery.
OmQi Biotechnology is introducing a dual-function wellness device that produces both oxygen and nitric oxide for home care use, according to company representative Kevin Liao at Medical Taiwan 2025.
“This is an oxygen concentrator... we generate oxygen by membrane technology. We can concentrate oxygen up to 28%,” Liao said. “We also generate nitric oxide.”
Liao explained that nitric oxide helps expand blood vessels and increase circulation. “This device can make oxygen deliver into all the body,” he said, adding that the device uses a silicon cube to deliver oscillation vibrations into the nasal cavity, stimulating nitric oxide production.
Currently, the product is positioned for home wellness rather than hospital-grade treatment. “Our product is not yet a medical device, so this will have more barriers or challenges in our market,” Liao noted.
Despite regulatory limitations, the company is focused on optimising body performance. “Many companies may generate oxygen and many companies may generate no nitric oxide, but they never know how to integrate together,” Liao said. “We have a full solution to boost our body intelligence... to help our body be healthy.”
