MIIS develops AI-powered imaging tools for diabetes
The company is integrating AI software and clinical data to enhance diagnostic accuracy.
Medimaging Integrated Solution Inc. (MIIS) is leveraging artificial intelligence to improve diagnostic tools for diabetes-related conditions, according to its President and CEO Stefan Cheng during an interview at Medical Taiwan 2025.
“We’ve developed AI-powered software integrated with our hardware to help doctors quickly and accurately diagnose wounds,” Cheng said.
One of the key challenges MIIS faces is training its AI models using real clinical data. “We obtain clinical data and work closely with doctors to support the AI’s learning through technology reading and machine learning,” he said.
Cheng also sees potential to expand the technology’s scope. “We may integrate solutions like ChatGPT to further enhance our AI’s functionality in hospitals,” he said, suggesting broader applications for their system.
