Anscare targets home care with wound therapy
The battery-free wound care solutions are aimed at diabetic patients and post-surgical recovery.
Anscare, a division of Bankers Healthcare Corporation, is advancing wound care through simplified, portable solutions that cover every stage of healing—from hemostasis to scar treatment.
“We provide the solution for the full spectrum of the wound process, including hemostasis stage, post-surgery stage, and also the wound management stage,” said Sam SC Chen, Specialist, Sales Department, Biomedical Product Business Division, Anscare, during Medical Taiwan 2025. “We provide gauze, bandage compression devices, tissue adhesive, wound gel, hydrogel, and scar care products like silicone patches and scar gel.”
Anscare is particularly focused on supporting diabetic patients and reducing hospital dependency. “We emphasise home care, especially for patients such as diabetes patients,” said Chen. “Traditional negative wound therapy systems are very heavy and complicated. We aim to shorten the time that patients stay in the hospital.”
Their system is lightweight, battery-free, and user-friendly. “It can be taken home and operated by the patient themselves,” Chen added. “We emphasise decreasing the waste of medical resources.”
