National Healthcare Group redesigns career pathways for therapy assistants
Under the new framework, assistants are provided with specialised training.
Singapore’s National Healthcare Group (NHG) has introduced a redesigned career framework for therapy assistants across the cluster.
Under the new framework, therapy assistants are provided with specialised training. Those who meet the required competencies are promoted to a higher job grade as ‘therapy associates’.
Currently, there are over 230 therapy assistants, senior therapy assistants, and therapy support associates in the group.
Of this cohort, approximately 30 per cent are expected to progress to the therapy associate role within the next three to five years, according to NHG.
