New voice and swallowing clinic opens at BMH Kannur

Baby Memorial Hospital (BMH) in Kannur, India has announced the launch of a new clinic dedicated to voice and swallowing difficulties.
The clinic features diagnostic tools such as flexible endoscopy, transnasal esophagoscopy, and narrow-band imaging technology for early cancer detection.
It also houses a multidisciplinary team comprising laryngologists, voice and swallowing therapists, and dieticians.
The facility was inaugurated by Jayakumar Menon, Kerala’s first laryngologist, with the event presided over by BMH Chairman K.G. Alexander.
