Australian gov’t invests $15.5m in Southern NSW health worker housing

The funding is part of the ‘Key Health Worker Accommodation’ programme.

The Australian government has announced a $15.5m (A$24m) investment in key worker accommodation across Southern New South Wales (NSW), particularly Crookwell, Bega, and Eurobodalla.

Regional Health Minister Ryan Park and Member for Bega Michael Holland made the announcement today during a visit to the $213m (A$330m) Eurobodalla Regional Hospital’s construction site.

“The Key Health Worker Accommodation programme will support Southern NSW Local Health District in continuing to provide high-quality health services to the community,” Park said.

The funding is part of the state’s ‘Key Health Worker Accommodation’ programme, which aims to support more than 20 projects across rural, regional and remote areas.
