Kauvery Hospital launches Chennai’s first O-ARM with navigation system

Kauvery Hospital has inaugurated Chennai’s first O-Arm Surgical System with navigation, designed for highly complex brain, spine, and orthopaedic surgeries.

The system features AI-driven 2D and 3D imaging capabilities, providing surgeons real-time intraoperative imaging.

The hospital said this allows for better orientation, precise decision-making, and verification of implant placement and spinal alignment.

The system was inaugurated by Narayanan V, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation.
