The Beekeeper Group brings home win at Healthcare Asia Awards 2025

It is the first platform in the region to provide integrated aftercare for mental health and addiction recovery.

Rehab treatment centre The Beekeeper Group won the Technology Innovation of the Year - Thailand category at the prestigious Healthcare Asia Awards 2025 for its My Beekeeper platform that delivers comprehensive aftercare for primary rehab treatment, bridging the gap between discharge and sustained recovery.

The platform consists of a client-facing mobile app and an interconnected clinician-facing portal, ensuring that each patient receives a hyper-customised experience. Clients are able to track sleep, medication, mood, and physical activity in the form of steps. Low movement levels can trigger calls to action, including well-being checks to address potential concerns early.

It ensures secure, private communication between clients and clinicians, along with group messaging for alumni, fostering a sense of community and ongoing support. It also features resources such as a well-being plan, treatment goal, and an emergency safety plan to ensure tailored support for each individual. There is also ongoing access to clinical and wellness teams through virtual meetings and guided video resources.

At the same time, My Beekeeper platform highlights regularly updated content to ensure relevance to evolving client needs and industry trends. These contents include evidence-based assessments, interactive quizzes and activities, and artificial intelligence integration, amongst others.

The platform has demonstrated significant success, with improved engagement rates and reduced relapse risks amongst users.

Over 98% of clients have been successfully onboarded into the platform, which has seen high levels of interaction with features like daily logs and assessments, indicating strong client commitment to their recovery journey. Client surveys also consistently highlight the platform's usability, relevance, and positive impact on recovery outcomes.

At the same time, the introduction of the My Beekeeper Platform has positioned The Beekeeper Group as a leader in innovation within mental health and rehabilitation care. It has enhanced the organisation's ability to provide continuous support, creating stronger client relationships and improving outcomes by identifying early warning signs of decline, supporting early intervention, and reducing relapse rates.

At an industry level, the platform has set a benchmark for integrating technology into aftercare. It highlights the potential of digital tools to revolutionise recovery support and has inspired other providers to explore similar solutions.

“My Beekeeper platform exemplifies cutting-edge innovation, achieving enhanced client support and recovery outcomes. Its transformative impact on The Beekeeper Group and the broader industry underscores its potential to drive progress in mental health and addiction recovery care. We are honoured to present this innovation for the Technology Innovation of the Year Award,” the company said.
