Healthcare nanorobots market to hit $11b by 2030

Nanorobots are being increasingly used in drug delivery and cancer treatment.

The global healthcare nanorobots market, valued at $7.8b in 2024, is projected to reach $11b by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 5.9%, according to a new report by ResearchAndMarkets.com.

The report said that nanorobots are seeing increased use in drug delivery, cancer treatment, cardiovascular procedures, diagnostics, and advanced surgeries. Their ability to deliver drugs directly to diseased cells reduces side effects and improves treatment outcomes.

In oncology, nanorobots enable targeted drug delivery and early tumor detection. They are also used to clear arterial blockages, repair tissues, and provide real-time diagnostic data through nanosensors.

Key drivers of market growth include advancements in nanotechnology, rising cases of chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes, and increasing demand for precision treatments.

Additionally, government funding, industry partnerships, and a focus on personalised, minimally invasive medicine are contributing to the market’s expansion.

The report also highlighted nanorobots' growing role in regenerative medicine and gene therapy as they become essential tools in cellular repair and genetic modification.
