American Hospital Dubai unveils non-invasive treatment for prostate cancer

The procedure can be completed in a single session under general anaesthesia.

American Hospital Dubai has introduced Focal One® Robotic High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) procedures for prostate cancer patients.

The new technology utilises high-intensity, focused ultrasound waves to destroy malignant tissues whilst preserving the healthy surrounding areas.

According to the hospital, the Focal One® Robotic HIFU is non-invasive and can be completed in a single session under general anaesthesia, reducing the risk of incontinence or erectile dysfunction.
