Manuel J. Santos Hospital expands free clubfoot treatment in Philippines' Caraga region

The hospital has partnered with the Maharlika Charity Foundation for the initiative.

Philippines’ Manuel J. Santos Hospital (MJSH) has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with the Maharlika Charity Foundation, Inc. (MCFI) to increase access to free clubfoot treatment for children in the Caraga region.

Following the MoA signing, a training session on the Ponseti method was conducted for MJSH and MCFI employees.

The training aims to equip healthcare providers with the skills needed to implement the method, a non-surgical approach that uses casting for the condition.
