Philippine-based medical centre to support academic research in Western Mindanao

Thanks to a new partnership with the region’s state university.

Philippines-based West Metro Medical Centre has partnered with Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) to support academic research for its medical students.

Through the ‘West Metro Research Grant’ programme, the hospital will provide resources and funding to support the development of projects that focus on healthcare issues in the region.

The collaboration is expected to enhance WMSU medical students' research capabilities and improve the quality and quantity of their studies.
