Qatar’s health expenditure to be valued at $12.8b by 2029

Qatar’s health expenditure is projected to reach approximately $12.8b by 2029, growing at a double-digit compound annual growth rate (CAGR), according to BMI.
“We have revised up our forecast CAGR and expect that total health expenditure will grow by a 2024-2029 CAGR of 13.6%,” the report said.
Government spending is expected to account for 81.1% of the total expenditure by the end of the forecast period.
This year, Qatar has allocated $6b to health, marking a 4.6% increase from 2024 and accounting for 10.5% of the total national budget for 2025.
