TMC and DOT inks MoA to advance medical tourism in the Philippines

Part of the collaboration includes the launch of the ‘Discover Your Wellness’ campaign.

The Medical City (TMC) and the Philippines’ Department of Tourism (DOT) have entered a partnership aimed at promoting the country as a top destination for health and wellness.

Through a memorandum of agreement (MoA), both organisations will focus on enhancing the Philippines’ medical tourism offerings.

This includes the launch of a campaign focusing on the overall well-being and tourism experience in the country.

“We look forward to the success of this partnership and the ‘Discover Your Wellness’ campaign, and the many positive outcomes that we anticipate this will bring to our nation," Tourism Secretary, Christina Frasco, said.

Moreover, she emphasised ongoing and upcoming projects such as the establishment of medical tourism concierge services at airports and tourist first aid facilities in various tourist destinations.

“Together, we will emphasise the advantages of choosing the Philippines for medical care where patients can expect world-class healthcare services complimented by our hospitality and beautiful landscapes,” Frasco added.
