Virtus Fertility Centre Singapore unveils IVF support grant for couples
The initial $36,700 (S$50,000) grant will cover the main costs associated with IVF.
Virtus Fertility Centre Singapore (VFCS) has announced a grant to support married couples interested in In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), effective 1 July.
The initial grant is set at $36,700 (S$50,000) and will cover the main costs for IVF treatments and procedures, including embryo retrieval and transfer, laboratory services, and embryo prep, as well as fresh and frozen egg transfers.

Eligible applicants for the grant include married Singaporean couples diagnosed with medical infertility by a fertility specialist and first-time parents who have not tried IVF.
Recipients of the grant will have their samples given a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag to lock the patient's identity with the sample.
In addition, the RFID tag will identify the gametes, eggs, sperm, or embryos at every stage of the treatment.
