Upgrades underway for Australia’s Maryborough Hospital
A new forecourt and patient drop-off zone are being built.
Work is progressing on a new forecourt and patient drop-off zone at Maryborough Hospital in Victoria, Australia, as part of continued upgrades to the regional health facility.
The project includes the demolition of the hospital’s old urgent care centre, with the cleared area to accommodate accessible parking, a pedestrian ramp, additional onsite car parks, and native landscaping.
The Clarendon Street ambulance bay and other disused buildings, including the old dental and pathology facilities, will also be demolished to make way for the new spaces.
Moreover, the hospital’s 165-year-old original facade will be uncovered and repaired.
These works are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
